The Feeler PIG is equipment that uses a geometric sensor to carry out the internal inspection of piping different sizes. Several experiments on laboratory benches were carried evaluate measuring accuracy PIG, considering rotating metallic disk with discontinuities machined in its body and single for detection defects. present work aims study measurement uncertainties through experiment, comparing results found by device measurements, pipe nominal diameter 6” PVC, synthetic made calibrated 3D printer laboratory. tests based operational use which it moves inside under speed conditions an arrangement 5 geometries. methodology used was same performed calibration laboratory, sum type A B are multiplied coverage factor (k), proved capable reaching expanded order ± 3.1% 5.0% using confidence level 95.45%.
